Public-interest initiative belonging to the relevant Burundian authorities. AIDG is a proposed development and structuring partner, not the project owner or public authority.
AIDG's development and structuring role is proposed. The initiative is not presented as approved, financed, or ready for construction. Feasibility, implementation planning, and partner arrangements require further work.
The proposed centre would combine sports and training facilities, a youth academy, athlete accommodation, sports medicine services, talent development programmes, and community-focused economic activities.
Feasibility work would assess how the proposed facilities and programmes can support athletes, young people, and the local economy. Scale, cost, and delivery arrangements remain to be established.
